Studying in Hull or York

When you receive an offer to study, you will be allocated a home campus of either the University of Hull or the University of York, where you will be based for your first two years of study.

Regardless of your location, you will follow exactly the same curriculum and obtain the same level of expertise and skills from academics, clinicians and tutors.

Whichever home university you are allocated to, you will become part of a welcoming and diverse student community.

Support and wellbeing

When you join Hull York Medical School you join a close knit community. Our aim is to ensure you get the most out of your time at medical school – developing those knowledge and skills you need to fulfil your ambitions.

We recognise that there may be times when you need support to help you manage academic or personal pressures and we are here to help.

We are proud to support students through our dedicated Student Support Team including an Open Door mental health practitioner, through our Student Liaison Teams at our hospital sites, and of course through all our tutors.
