Your journey starts now

We're here to support you on every step of your journey to postgraduate study.

In most cases, you will submit your application through the University of York's admission system - even if you will be studying at our Hull campus or online. If you haven't already, you can create an account before you begin your application.

Applications to study MSc Physician Associate Studies are made via UCAS.

Whatever you are studying, make sure you are prepared to complete your application before you begin.

Application checklist

Deadline

Check the deadline on the course page and ensure that you give yourself enough time to complete your application. The deadline for international applicants is usually earlier than for home students. We may close applications for the course earlier than advertised, so ensure that you complete your submission as soon as you are able.

Entry requirements

Study the entry requirements on the course page closely. These are the minimum standards that we will consider, so be sure that you meet these requirements before you begin your application.

Minimum English language requirements

If English is not your first language, check that you meet the minimum English language requirements listed on the course page. You will need to provide a copy of your language certificate as part of the application process too.

Applicants who do not meet our English Language requirements may be required to complete the University of Hull’s Pre-Sessional English course as a condition of their offer to study.

Additional documents

You will upload your academic transcript as part of your application, so make sure you have a copy available. You can optionally upload a CV and personal statement to strengthen your application too. International applicants will also be required to provide their language certificate.

Applying online

When you are ready to apply, visit your chosen course page and press the 'apply now' button.

During the application process, you will provide contact information, visa and immigration status, education and employment history, a personal statement and details of an academic referee, as well as confidential equal opportunities monitoring data.

The one exception to this process MSc Physician Associate Studies, where applicants apply via UCAS. During your application, you will need to enter the Hull York Medical School institution code and the course code in the 'Choices' section:

  • Institution code: H75
  • Course code: BB96
