Our support is offered through the Hull Health Trials Unit and Methods Hub who, through their collaborative working, bring together multidisciplinary expertise to support you with your research.

Methods Hub
The Institute for Clinical and Applied Health Research (ICAHR) Methods Hub provides a multidisciplinary methodological resource to support the full range of applied health research, from evidence synthesis to quantitative and qualitative designs.
How we can help
The Methods Hub can provide you with methodological support for designing and conducting research, ideally working in collaboration with research teams from the grant application stage.
The Hub co-locates the best health research methodologists from around the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Hull, including Hull York Medical School, who are experienced in innovative applied methods design, and lead methodological and substantive research.
Hull Health Trials Unit
The Hull Health Trials Unit (HHTU) is a collaboration between Hull York Medical School, the University of Hull and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. It has been established to facilitate collaboration between clinicians and researchers on the design, delivery and analysis of high quality, high impact health research.
How we can help
We offer a range of practical and specialist support to help investigators across a range of disciplines with all stages of your study. We encourage you to contact us at the grant application stage to discuss your research ideas and develop full collaborative funding bids.
Our enthusiastic and expert team of methodologists and operational staff can assist with the design, conduct and analysis of large-scale health research.

- Data management (bespoke online data capture/databases and randomisation systems)
- Data Safe Haven (storage of NHS digital data/data manipulation and analysis)
