Introduction

About the programme

The Hull York Medical School Health Professions Education Unit is pleased to launch a programme for newly qualified Physician Associates in the Yorkshire and Humber region, aimed to support your transition into the first six to 24 months of practice.

Delivered in collaboration with the Humber and North Yorkshire Faculty of Advanced Practice and funded by the Health Education England, this free programme offers a supportive learning environment for Physician Associates practicing in primary and secondary care.

This programme is delivered by experts from our Health Professions Education Unit and facilitated by a Physician Associate Ambassador from the Humber and North Yorkshire Healthcare Partnership Faculty of Advanced Practice, and will support you to navigate the challenges and opportunities in your early practice.

Course dates

All sessions run from 10am to 2.30pm at the University of York.

This programme is open to Physician Associates in the Yorkshire and Humber region who are within six to 24 months of practice.

The programme is fully funded by Health Education England and therefore free to attendees.
