Bronwen is the Operations Manager of the Hull Health Trials Unit a UKCRC registered CTU based in the Allam Medical Building at the University of Hull.
HHTU aims to collaborate with clinicians and academics on high-quality, multi-centre research. The unit was established in 2018 and now has an active study portfolio and a multi-disciplinary team of staff to deliver high quality clinical research.
Bronwen graduated as a nurse in 1992 and worked in the NHS specialising in liver disease services and clinical research. She was a member of NICE NAFLD working Group in 2014/15 and was a committee member for the British Liver Nurses Forum between 2014 and 2018.
She worked in Africa between 2003 and 2010 for an international aid agency managing various health projects and received a distinction Msc in International Health Management in Development at the University of Birmingham in 2008.
