Tim provides support and guidance to the team in the Health Professions Education Unit at Hull York Medical School, and supervision and teaching contributions to the Certificate, Diploma and Masters in Health Professions Education.
Formerly a Postgraduate Dean, Senior Clinical Adviser, and Director of Clinical Leadership for NHS England, Tim has a background in general practice and expertise in work-based learning, professional support, academic careers, leadership and faculty development. Publications include several national reports, over 50 peer-reviewed papers and 10 books including the ABCs of Clinical Leadership, and Quality Improvement and the internationally acclaimed textbook, Understanding Medical Education.
