I am Lead for the Applied Life Sciences (ALS) Theme, which runs across Phases 1 & 2 (years 1-4) of the MB BS programme.
I am a biochemist by training, with a research background in the structure and function of brain neurotransmitter receptors. I started my academic career in the University of Liverpool pharmacology department, before moving to the newly established Lincoln Medical School in 2019. There I taught biochemistry and molecular medicine, alongside the roles of BMedSci Year Lead and Director of Teaching and Learning. I joined HYMS in September 2023.
