Biography

I was a GP Senior partner in the West Midlands for 25 years, working as a postgraduate trainer, undergraduate Tutor and GP appraiser for 20 years. I completed a Masters in Medical Education at Staffordshire University in 2007 with my Dissertation an Action Learning project devising and delivering a Quality Assurance Process for Undergraduate Placements at Derby Medical School (where I worked as a Community SubDean in Primary Care).

My interests in medical education include communication skills, the learning organisation, quality assurance and interprofessional education. I helped create one of the largest Primary Care Networks in the country through educational facilitation of peers, creating shared understanding and community of practice.
