Arwa is a Clinical Research Fellow in Primary Care at Hull and has joined the School to do her PhD in Medical Sciences. Before this, she completed an Academic Clinical Fellowship in Primary Care at The University of Birmingham, where she trained as a GP and undertook a Masters in Public Health (Global Health). Arwa has also a postgraduate certificate in Healthcare Leadership and a Postgraduate Diploma in Tissue Engineering. In addition to her MB BS from Norwich Medical School, she holds a BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience from The University of Manchester. Arwa’s research interests include early diagnosis of cancer, health inequalities and global health.
