Alison was awarded a first class masters degree in Biomedical Science by the University of Hull in 2012. She is an HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist specialising in histology. She completed her biomedical training at Hull & East Yorkshire NHS cellular pathology laboratory and has subsequently worked within NHS pathology services. In 2013 she joined the University of Hull as a technician for the new Daisy Tumour Bank at Castle Hill Hospital.
