Health and Wellbeing
Being at university is an exciting time, full of new challenges and opportunities. It's important to look after your physical and mental health, so that you can get the most out of your studies.
Sexual Assault Support
If you have experienced any serious form of sexual harassment we advise you to talk to someone without delay. There are many sources of support and help available to you both within the University and externally signposted on the University of York website.
Starting at university can be a very daunting experience for most students - more so if you have a disability and require specific support, advice or individual guidance. The University aims to provide you with the help and support you may need to aid your academic progress and make your stay at the University of York as enjoyable as possible.
Equality and Diversity
The University of York values the diversity of its members and is committed to the creation of a positive environment which is fair, welcoming, inclusive and where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
The University of York has been welcoming students from all over the world since it was established. International students form an integral part of the community on campus, and currently just over 20% of our students come from outside the UK.
With over 4000 rooms for Undergraduate students, located across eight colleges, we are able to offer you a range of accommodation styles to suit your lifestyle and budget. We also have over 500 rooms as part of our Graduate College - Wentworth. We offer advice and support on all of your accommodation needs throughout your time at University.
