Dr Joseph Clark

Research Fellow in Palliative Care

Joseph Clark is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Palliative Care at the Hull York Medical School. He completed his masters in Global Social Policy (Distinction) and his scholarship-funded PhD at the University of Sheffield. He has worked on several multicentre clinical trials and is currently the Trial Manager for Cancer Needs Assessment in Primary Care (CANASSESS:PC) a project which aims to test a new palliative care cancer needs assessment tool for use in primary care in the UK. Joseph has specific expertise in: global palliative care policy, policy transfer, systematic reviewing, mixed-methods research, clinical trials, population ageing and public health.
